St. Louis.– Scottrade, a leading branch-supported online investment firm, is opening a new branch office in Murrieta, Calif. The branch office, located at 40675 Murrieta Hot Springs Road near the intersection of Interstates15 and 210, opens on Monday, Aug. 27.

“Our new branch office is easily accessible from the freeway and will be more convenient for many of our customers in southern Riverside County,” said Albert Yanez, Scottrade branch manager. “We look forward to providing online investors with a local office where they can easily stop in if they have any questions about their accounts or would like to learn more about online trading.”

Scottrade is an online brokerage that provides individual investors the tools and research to make their own investment decisions. Scottrade does not provide investment advice, but brokers are available at branch offices to answer account-related questions, provide customer service and offer tutorials on Scottrade’s trading services.

Scottrade has 44 other branch offices in California, including locations in Riverside and Laguna Hills, and plans to continue its expansion in the state. Additional offices planned this year include locations in Pleasanton, Chula Vista and Bakersfield.

“Scottrade has many loyal customers in California and as we continue to grow, we are continuing to open new offices close to where our customers live and work,” said Rodger Riney, Scottrade founder, president and CEO. “While most of our clients trade online, our local branch offices allow us to provide a better customer experience for online investors.”

Scottrade’s Murrieta branch office is open Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at 951-461-7939.
