New Sites Part of $133 Million Statewide Wireless Network Investment

Orlando, Florida.-AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) has announced the activation of two new cell sites in Collier County, Fla. The new sites are part of AT&T’s $133 million statewide wireless network investment for 2007.

A new cell site on 34th Avenue in Naples is expanding coverage in Collier County south of the intersection of Interstate 75 and DeSoto Boulevard and into the growing population developments in that area. A second cell site, on Borghese Lane in Naples, is increasing coverage at the Hammock Bay Golf and Country Club and is providing connecting coverage along Route 951 south from Naples to Marco Island.

More than half of the new cell sites that AT&T plans to build in Florida this year will be located in the Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota and Tampa markets.

“Our goal is to ensure that AT&T customers have the very best wireless experience possible, which includes unmatched coverage and quality of service,” said Rudy Hermond, vice president and general manager for AT&T’s West, Central and North Florida wireless operations.

AT&T has invested more than $800 million in its Florida wireless network since 2005. The investment includes the rollout of AT&T’s third-generation (3G) wireless broadband network last fall in Tampa, Daytona, Gainesville, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Orlando, Melbourne, Lakeland, Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. The company is expanding its 3G footprint in 2007 to include the Treasure Coast and Key West.

AT&T’s 3G service provides customers with broadband speeds and on-the-go access to the latest news, weather and entertainment programming through Cellular Video and AT&T Mobile Music.
