Popular GLBT Podcast Changes to Listener-driven Format

North Haledon, New Jersey, September 27, 2005 /WebWire/ -- JasonCable.comís GLBT Podcast, the Internetís informative gay talk radio, announces that in early October it will introduce a new format. The show will let the voices of its listeners be heard around the world as they report and comment on GLBT issues.

The change comes in the wake of recent poll results pointing out that hearing the voices of a global audience of everyday people talk about issues affecting them is what is most needed in the GLBT community. Says show creator and host Jason Cable, ďPeople are tired of reading stories filtered for political correctness and edited for content. Our listeners want true stories from real people. Thatís what I intend to give them.Ē

Listeners are able to submit their local GLBT news, stories, comments, and/or concerns on the showís website, via email, or for US and Canadian listeners via a toll-free number. The goal of this change is to increase global awareness in the GLBT community along with taking on issues that are simply too controversial to be covered in the mainstream media. Each show will focus on one specific topic relating to the gay and lesbian community at large.

To support these efforts, the podcast will be holding an eBay auction for exclusive advertising on the show in the month of October with 10% of the proceeds being donated to charity. To find the listing on eBay, search for ďGLBT podcastĒ or visit: . The auction ends October 1.
