Ricoh Exhibits Documentmall 9.0, SaaS Capabilities At Comptia Breakaway 2007

Ricoh Americas Corporation’s Document Solutions and Services Division is showcasing DocumentMall 9.0 at the CompTIA Breakaway 2007 Conference taking place at The Mirage Resort and Casino in Las Vegas from July 30th through August 2nd. Ricoh will demonstrate the features of the enhanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) document management solution at its booth (#305 and #307) as well as highlight DocumentMall 9.0 attributes during a closed keynote presentation. During the event, Value-Added Resellers and systems integrators will have the opportunity to expand their IT offerings by becoming DocumentMall resellers.
A primary Ricoh SaaS solution, DocumentMall 9.0 is a scalable, Web based application that provides users with a simple interface and document management flexibility that helps perfect day-to-day business operations. The various features of this on-demand electronic document management solution enables organizations to realize the benefits of SaaS including improvements in operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and business continuity and disaster readiness. Specific capabilities offered by DocumentMall 9.0 include: § Point-and-click navigation and intuitive, menu-driven functionality to optimize performance § Ability to drag-and-drop documents and folders from their desktops direct to DocumentMall to expedite document archiving, managing and sharing § User subscriptions to commonly accessed folders and documents in the system that can be accessed through quick-links in a specified directory § Notifications that alert users via email when subscribed content has been updated § Multiple documents and files can be copied or moved in one command to streamline content relocation and duplication § The Replicator product (optional) enables the transferring electronic documents from local and network drives, provides automated and scheduled document uploading § Viewing, editing, printing and on-line collaboration of documents deriving from various programs, even if that application is not available on the user’s desktop

To enhance document management, DocumentMall 9.0 also offers secure and direct scanning from Ricoh’s multifunctional products with barcode indexing for low to moderate scanning, and Upload Agent for high-volume document upload with third-party conversion software.

On Monday, July 30th at 6:00 p.m., Ricoh will also be leading a closed presentation to select conference attendees.
