DAYTON, Ohio — Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation (NYSE: NCR), announced today that CVS/pharmacy, the nation’s largest retail pharmacy, intends to implement an enterprise data warehouse from Teradata.

Migration to the Teradata Warehouse, built on the new Teradata 5500 servers, is expected to be completed before the end of 2007. Bryan Rodrigues, director of technology for CVS/pharmacy, said, “This technology investment in Teradata’s data warehouse solution will help us continue to meet the increasing demand for timely access to business information.”

“Teradata’s enterprise data warehouse will make it possible for CVS/pharmacy to access massive amounts of detailed data with reduced effort. With Teradata, CVS has a foundational platform that will enable strategic business initiatives,” said Rob Berman, vice president of retail solutions for Teradata.
