TAIPEI, TAIWAN,– BenQ today unveiled a new addition to its award-winning laptop lineup with the Joybook R56 – featuring the world’s fastest 8ms response time, Intel Core™2 Duo processor, best-of-class nVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M G graphics processing unit and built-in dual 2W high quality speakers with a 3W subwoofer for an unparalleled visual and audio experience.

The Joybook R56 features a bright 15.4-inch widescreen enhanced by BenQ’s patented UltraVivid technology and renders even the most complex visuals such as fast moving 3D effects with its best-of-class nVIDIA® GeForce® 8400M G chip. Backed by the lastest graphic processing unit, the Joybook R56 easily handles latest generation of games and applications that demand powerful multimedia capabilities.

Besides outstanding visual performance, the R56 also delivers stunning audio experience with its built-in dual 2W stereo speakers and a 3W subwoofer embedded in its housing for a true visceral audio experience. Additionally, the audio performance is further enhanced with exclusive software that suppresses nose and echo.

The R56 comes outfitted with a HDMI output connector that provides pristine transmission of high-definition digital video and digital audio up to 1080p resolution via a single cable – allowing easy connection of HD enabled equipment such as HD monitor, HD TV, or HD projector for the best multimedia experience.

Furthermore, the sleek R56 features an elegant façade design that blends in two distinct shades of blue—one dark and one light—grace the outside and inside surfaces of the R56. It also comes equipped with a built-in 1.3 megapixel QEye webcam and an internal mic at same area with noise suppression and echo cancellation functions.
