Pratt & Whitney Sponsored the Ninth Annual Bradley Space & Aviation Day Event

EAST HARTFORD, Conn.,- The Pratt & Whitney-sponsored Bradley Space & Aviation Day attracted more than 4,000 community members to raise money for the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp in Ashford, Conn. Through donations, sponsorships, and raffle ticket sales more than $60,000 was raised – enough to send 24 children to summer camp this year. The event, coordinated by Bradley Family Day, Inc., was held Saturday, July 14. Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.

“The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is extremely grateful for Pratt & Whitney’s leadership of Bradley Space & Aviation Day,” said Michael Smiles, director of development at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. “Together we celebrate our community, the sharing of our mission and the joy of camp with 24 seriously ill children.”

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp is a nonprofit residential summer camp and year-round center designed to serve children and families coping with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. For more information visit holeinthewallgang.org.
