Blitz Nets Chyron For Powerful HD Sports Graphics

Chyron Corporation (OTC BB: CYRO) has today announced that Blitz, one of the UK’s leading providers of audio-visual equipment and services, has installed a Chyron HyperX HD/SD-switchable graphics system, with Lyric PRO to provide sophisticated live 3D graphics and animation for many of Europe’s major sporting events.

The first outing for the new HyperX purchased by Blitz was the French Open Tennis Tournament held at Roland Garros, Paris. The system, which will be used for both Outside Broadcast and studio production, will return to France in September to provide HD graphics creation and playout for the Rugby World Cup.

“Blitz has been providing AV equipment to broadcasters for the last ten years for programs such as Tour de France, America’s Cup, Big Brother, Springwatch, Wimbeldon, Premier League Football and Golf.
