TULIX Systems Available through NCTC

ATLANTA, September 19, 2005 - TULIX Systems, Inc., a leading Application Service Provider of solutions to the Broadband ISP Industry, announced that the company has been approved as a participating vendor in the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC). The NCTC is a not-for-profit, member-operated purchasing organization. The Co-op’s mission is to reduce the operating costs of its member cable companies by negotiating and administering master affiliation agreements with cable television programming networks, cable hardware and equipment manufacturers and other service providers on behalf of its member companies.
According to William B. Hood, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for TULIX, “The NCTC is the cable television industry’s centralized purchasing organization. The one thousand member companies provide cable television service to more than half of all cable systems in the country. Cooperative members strive to keep their businesses competitive and increase value to the subscribers they serve by taking advantage of volume discounts through the NCTC. This combined buying power results in significant cost savings for members on the purchase of products and services. We believe that our participation as an approved vendor provides an avenue for TULIX to market its COMMUNITY™ solution value proposition, as well as to offer competitive pricing for cable company members.”
COMMUNITY™ is a powerful yet easy to use software suite that seamlessly integrates personal web site creation, communication capabilities, desktop services and multi-media features within one comprehensive solution. COMMUNITY™ empowers subscribers of Cable ISPs to utilize an iterative approach for the creation, extension and maintenance of their own compelling and multi-functional web sites without the need for programming experience, and with minimal technical support. With the click of a mouse, subscribers can activate an extensive integrated array of features and functionality, including blogs, photo albums, multimedia galleries, discussion forums, live chats, desktop services, online/web storage and much more. Hood continued, “COMMUNITY™ goes well beyond a portal, allowing subscribers to mold a memorable global internet presence. These experiences increase subscribers’ participation and satisfaction, foster a sense of loyalty to their ISP and offer ISPs value-added services and revenue generating capabilities leading to higher profit margins for the ISPs’ complete service offering.”

Dan Mulvenon, Vice President Member Services of the National Cable Television Cooperative, said, “Our member-operated organization allows our referral solutions vendors to become part of the NCTC community. We believe this relationship provides a positive environment for both vendors and our cable company members. A referral agreement provides vendors with an important channel to increase awareness and interest in their products and services.”
