Guatemala welcomes the world of sport

As from tomorrow, Guatemala City will be hosting, for the first time in its history, an IOC Session, reuniting the IOC members for their yearly meeting. “This Session is a major event for our country and will have an extremely positive impact”, says Willi Kaltschmitt Luján, IOC member and Chairman of the Organising Committee. As a matter of fact, the world is watching Guatemala, when the IOC members will decide on 4 July whether Sochi (Russia), Salzburg (Austria) or PyeongChang (South Korea) will have the privilege of hosting the 2014 Olympic Winter Games.
