New Creative Director and Deputy Editor for Woman&Home

woman&home, IPC Southbank’s monthly glossy for 40-plus women, has appointed David Dowding as its new creative director and Gaby Huddart as its new deputy editor.

David is currently art director of Livingetc, Britain’s best-selling modern homes magazine. He has also worked at Cosmopolitan as art director and was on the launch team for Maxim in Russia.

Gaby joins woman&home from Square Meal, the leading London restaurant guide and website, which she has edited for the last six years. She has 17 years’ experience in journalism and has written extensively on business, travel, food and celebrity profiles for numerous publications, including The Times, the Evening Standard, High Life, Harpers & Queen and woman&home.

Sue James, editorial director, says: “I am delighted to have appointed two very talented people who I know will work brilliantly with my strong editorial team to continue to innovate the woman&home brand.”

David says: “I am really excited about taking on the role as creative director at woman&home. David joins as creative director on August 6 and Gaby starts as deputy editor on August 13.
