WEBWIRE

Following the heightened state of airport security after the recent incidents in London and at Glasgow Airport, there are a number of changes currently in place to Meet and Greet Airport Parking at airports around the UK.

Holiday Extras has the latest information about Meet and Greet Parking at UK airports and will keep you informed of any changes as we receive them.

At Gatwick Airport, where Meet and Greet Parking can be booked through Holiday Extras with Maple Manor Parking, Maple Manor Advance and CPS Personal Parking, Meet and Greet Parking at North Terminal is operating as normal. However, at South Terminal where security is directing people into the left lane for car parks, you are advised not to take the left turn into the car parks but to keep right to get to the meeting point.

At Heathrow Holiday Extras offers Meet and Greet Parking with CPS Personal Parking and Aardvark Valet Parking. Some lanes are closed near to the terminals at Heathrow, but all CPS and Aardvark operations are running as normal.

At Birmingham Airport Meet and Greet Parking is available with Holiday Extras through Airparks Express and CPS Personal Parking. Airparks Express is currently operating as normal but if there are any changes customers will be advised on arrival. The meeting point for CPS Personal Parking is now by the bus shelters before the drop area, and for returns you should use bus stop A.

At both East Midlands and Luton airports where Holiday Extras offers Airparks Express Meet and Greet Parking the service is operating as normal.

Manchester airport has been more disrupted by the tighter security measures. All roads at the terminal are closed, and for both CPS Personal Parking and Skypark Chauffeured Parking the meet point is now at the arrivals car park opposite the petrol station at Terminal 1.

The situation at Newcastle is better and both Skypark Meet and Greet and Meteor Meet and Greet are operating as normal.

Airparks Express Meet and Greet Parking at Cardiff airport is operating as normal, while at Exeter airport Fly Park Meet and Greet Parking there are also no changes and customers should report as normal to the short stay car park.

At Norwich airport no vehicles are currently allowed outside the terminal building so if you’re using Norwich Drop and Go Parking you should follow directions to the short stay car park.
