Fujitsu FENICSII Personal Access Solution Wins Interop Tokyo 2007 "Best of Show Award" Special Award for Security

Fujitsu Limited today announced that its FENICSII Personal Access Solution has won the “Best of Show Award” Special Award in the Security category at Interop Tokyo 2007, being held in Tokyo from June 13 to 15. Of the various network-related products, solutions, and services exhibited, the award is presented to the best and most suitable one for the Interop theme of this year, which is “The Internet: Solutions to Accelerate Your Business.” The Special Award won by Fujitsu is the top award that was presented in the Security category at Interop Tokyo 2007.

The FENICSII Personal Access Solution launched by Fujitsu on May 16 this year combines Personal Access Keys to confirm user identity, with the network-based IT service FENICS II, to enable biometric fingerprint-based authentication of user ID and confirmation of PC ID, set-up and access points, thereby enabling a one-touch secure connection to the user’s corporate network and service provider via the Internet or IP-VPN.

Fujitsu won the Special Award based on high regard of the advantages of the multiple authentication functions and secure network connection made possible by the FENICSII Personal Access Solution.
