Sonoco Signs Marketing and Supply Agreement with Erdie Industries, Inc. For North American Distribution of Twist-n-Pull(TM) Mailing and Shipping Tubes

Sonoco (NYSE: SON), the market and technology leader in the design and manufacture of paper tubes and cores, has entered into a new marketing and supply agreement with Cleveland-based Erdie Industries, Inc. The agreement brings together Sonoco’s extensive North American sales, marketing, and manufacturing capabilities with Erdie Industries’ innovative Twist-n-Pull™ mailing and shipping tube system to expand availability of the patent-pending end cap technology.

Erdie Industries’ Twist-n-Pull mailing and shipping tube system is easy-to-use, requires no assembly and provides self-locking end caps that eliminate the need to secure the ends with additional materials such as tape or heavy-duty staples. The Twist-n-Pull system is designed to solve concerns with the security of conventional mailing and shipping tube end closures.
