Agfa Graphics’ President Receives Award from Graphic Arts Honor Society

Agfa Graphics today announced that Tom Saggiomo, president and chief executive office, Agfa Graphics, North America, was presented with the Gamma Gold Key Award from The Gamma Chapter of Gamma Epsilon Tau of the NYC College of Technology of The City University of New York at their 52nd Annual Installations of Officers last Friday night. Gamma Epsilon Tau is the international graphic arts honor society. Also receiving the Gamma Gold Key Award was Hoag Levins, executive producer of AdAge.com.

An alumnus of the NYC College of Technology, Saggiomo was honored for his 30 years of business leadership, as well as his ongoing commitment to the graphic arts industry including his role as chairman of NPES (The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies). Saggiomo also serves on the board of directors of the Graphics Arts Education and Research Foundation (GAERF), is past-chairman of the Web Offset Association (WOA), and a member of NYU’s Graphics Communications Advisory Board.
“Education is one of the most valuable things we possess. It helps make us who we are as individuals, and helps shape our professional successes. I am grateful for this honor,” Saggiomo said.

The event took place at Club 101 in New York City and also celebrated the 55th year of the Gamma Chapter of Gamma Epsilon Tau.
