Boeing Signs Additional Customer to Next-Generation 737 Landing Gear Overhaul/Exchange Program

Boeing [NYSE: BA] Commercial Aviation Services has signed XL Airways UK Limited to the Next-Generation 737 landing gear overhaul and exchange program. By utilizing the Boeing Service Center Repair Network, customers of the program will receive support anywhere around the world. The program provides quick, reliable access to landing gear repair and replacement which can help return grounded airplanes to service as fast as possible.

“Our landing gear exchange program will allow XL Airways to operate more efficiently by assuring they have the gears they need, when they need them,” said Mark Owen, vice president of Material Management for Commercial Aviation Services.
