Andrew Romans of Georgetown Venture Partners Has Joined FoneKey’s Board of Directors

Tuesday May 29, 2007, Farmingdale, NY- FoneKey, Inc. is pleased to announce the recent addition of Andrew Romans to FoneKey’s Board of Directors. Andrew is the founder and Managing Partner of Georgetown Venture Partners (GVP), a California and London based corporate finance boutique specializing in raising venture capital funds for technology companies. He has raised funds for companies and advised on scores of M&A transactions in the US, Scandinavia and Europe; advising companies, VCs and private equity firms. Previously Romans co-founded and led The Global TeleExchange (The GTX) and raised over $50 million for that company deploying switches and operations in the US and Europe. Andrew is a board member of London based Web2.0 Internet company Feefo, a Red Herring Europe 100 finalist company and New York and London based ComedyBlaze TV, a user generated professional comedy Internet television channel.
Andrew holds a BA in Politics and languages from the University of Vermont and an MBA in finance from Georgetown University and is equally active in North America and Europe where he as a frequent public speaker on topics such as Venture Capital, business models and strategies as well as specific technologies such as Web2.0, Mobile TV, WiMAX, FMC, VoIP and IP and Internet television.
