Customer Management Solutions Provider Turns to AT&T to Optimize Service

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) today announced a new, five-year service contract with OKS-Ameridial. Based in North Canton, Ohio, OKS-Ameridial is a customer management and business process outsourcing solutions provider with offices in six cities on three continents.

Under the terms of the contract, AT&T will serve as the primary service provider for OKS-Ameridial, delivering AT&T OPT-E-MAN® service, a switched Ethernet service to connect multiple sites. The OPT-E-MAN optical transport solution will be used by OKS-Ameridial to enhance Internet access and other real-time communication between its locations and with its customers.

OKS-Ameridial initially looked to AT&T to address a specific need when an insurance carrier customer needed to establish multiple levels of encryption for its sensitive, transferable data. OKS-Ameridial’s transport service was not equipped to handle the higher volume that resulted. By switching to the AT&T OPT-E-MAN scalable service, OKS-Ameridial will be equipped to meet the demand for expanded bandwidth and will add redundancy to help ensure that communications will continue to flow regardless of potential disruptions.

“With locations in both hemispheres, our need to provide customer service and call center availability around the clock requires a provider capable of linking our sites on a converged network communications platform,” said Patty Zachman, OKS-Ameridial executive vice president. “The solution provided by AT&T will not only address a specific customer need for security but will also cost-effectively allow real-time, flexible communications between our contact centers, which helps us better serve our customers.”

The added bandwidth and redundancy OPT-E-MAN service provides will support future company growth by allowing OKS-Ameridial to expand its offerings of technologies and bandwidth-intensive applications, as customers demand them.
