AT&T Wins Networking Contract for Cardo Group

Malmö, Sweden — AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) announced today a contract worth $3 million over three years from Cardo Group, an international industrial group and leading supplier of door and logistics solutions, wastewater technology solutions, pulp and paper solutions and residential garage doors. As part of the agreement, AT&T will provide a Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS)-based wide area network (WAN) across 188 sites in 29 countries.*

Cardo Group, which has headquarters in Sweden, has subsidiaries in about 30 countries with its main business being generated in Europe. The company decided to migrate its applications to a centralized environment in order to create more flexibility and efficiencies across its business areas. As part of the agreement, AT&T will provide a range of services including Internet access for CRM, Finance, Logistics and Sales application servers as well as security and hosting solutions.
