Dirk Hooper and Robert Henry to appear at Dragonfyre Art Show

Oklahoma City – Dragonfyre Comic Shop proudly presents the second annual Dragonfyre Art Show. The show will run from August 19 through August 26. The opening reception will be at 8pm on Friday, August 19th and will feature an appearance from Sight Key Studios artists Dirk Hooper and Robert Henry. Admission is free.

The Dragonfyre Art Show is a fusion of artists who do science fiction, fantasy and comic art, plus a selection of original artwork from nationally-known comic artists, including sketches, comic pages and cover artwork. Jim Lane, owner of Dragonfyre Comics, says “The Dragonfyre Art Show is an opportunity for local artists to show their work and for the public to see what goes into creating a real comic book.”

Attending artists include Sight Key Studios fetish photographer and fantasy monotype artist Dirk Hooper and fine art photographer and multi-media artist Robert Henry. Dirk Hooper will be showing photography featuring Toxic Goddess Models Dark Mistress, Cameron, Xavia and Haze, plus several fantasy monotypes from his “Fallen Angel” series. Robert Henry will be showing some photography from his “Goddess” series, also featuring Haze, and will debut new mixed media work.

Dragonfyre Comic Shop offers unique toys, anime DVDs, limited edition statues and apparel, in addition to a large selection of current and classic comic books and manga. Dragonfyre will celebrate its tenth year of business in September.
