Scripps board increases dividend

CINCINNATI - The Board of Directors of The E. W. Scripps Company has approved a 17 percent increase in its dividend to shareholders.
The board authorized an increase in the company’s quarterly dividend from 12 cents ($0.12 to 14 cents ($0.14) per share. The dividend is payable June 8 to shareholders of record at the close of business May 25.
