The NikeSKIMS Waffle Racer carries forward the iconic waffle traction pattern and low-profile racing shape of the original Nike Waffle Racer, reimagined for her through distinct colorways and detailing on the tongue, heel and sock liner.

The modern expression of the 1970s-era Nike silhouette brings one of the most classic shoes in sport to the modern wardrobe, joining the NikeSKIMS Rift and NikeSKIMS apparel as part of a refined system of dress designed to mix, match and layer for infinite looks in and out of the gym or studio.

“The Waffle Racer is one of those shoes I’ve always come back to. It’s so easy to wear and never goes out of style,” says Kim Kardashian, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, SKIMS. “Being able to reinterpret a silhouette with so much history was incredibly special. We wanted to preserve everything people love about the original while bringing a distinct NikeSKIMS perspective to it, creating something that feels timeless, elevated and relevant for today.”

The Waffle Racer debuts in three distinctly NikeSKIMS two-tone colorways seen across the accompanying Retro Sport collection, which is also inspired by timeless sport silhouettes and meant for elevated, effortless styling.

Launching just after the Waffle Racer, the Retro Sport collection is rooted in styles that are core to sport DNA. Timeless pieces, athletic detailing, vintage graphics and relaxed layering pieces come together in NikeSKIMS’ take on the vintage sport aesthetic shaping fashion today.

The collection introduces new Vintage Sport Fleece, a soft, heavyweight French terry fleece with a relaxed silhouette and vintage-inspired graphics designed for effortless layering. It also expands the Matte assortment with new lace-up and contrast-trim styles while building out the brand’s outerwear offering with insulated pieces including a hooded puffer jacket, puffer wrap and half-zip coaches jacket, all designed for the cooler months ahead.

The collection further extends NikeSKIMS’ system of dress with vintage-inspired, body-contouring essentials, away-from-body styles, footwear and cold-weather layers.

The launch follows NikeSKIMS’ expansion into China, which brings the brand’s distinctive perspective to one of the world’s most influential markets for sport, style and culture. As the latest step in NikeSKIMS’ continued global growth, the expansion underscores the brand’s commitment to bringing its sport-style innovation to new audiences around the world.
