Datavail Names Jeff Schodowski Senior Vice President of Solutions

Datavail, a leading provider of enterprise IT services specializing in cloud, data, analytics, and AI solutions, today announced that Jeff Schodowski has been named Senior Vice President of Solutions. In his expanded role, Schodowski will lead Datavail’s solutioning organization, bringing together the company’s expertise across modern workloads to help clients translate complex technology challenges into practical business outcomes.

Schodowski brings approximately 20 years of experience across data, analytics and modernization, including significant experience within Datavail. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Solutions for Enterprise Data, where he helped shape the company’s Databricks and Microsoft perspectives and worked with clients navigating complex cloud and data modernization initiatives. Earlier in his career, Schodowski held leadership positions at DXC, Domino’s, HP Enterprise Services, and EDS.

In his new role, Schodowski will work closely across sales and delivery to strengthen the connection between clients’ business priorities, Datavail’s technical expertise and the solutions the company brings to market. His appointment reflects Datavail’s continued focus on making complex modernization initiatives easier for clients to navigate, from defining the right strategy through implementation and ongoing operations.

“Jeff has the combination we need in this role: deep industry expertise, strong technical instincts and, importantly, a deep understanding of Datavail and our clients,” said Jerry Hawk, CEO of Datavail. “He has already played an important role in shaping how we approach modern data and cloud solutions. Jeff knows how to get beyond the technology conversation, understand what a client is really trying to accomplish and bring the right people and capabilities together to solve it. Expanding his leadership across our solutions organization is a natural next step for Jeff and for Datavail.”

Known for his ability to make complex ideas clear and relevant, Schodowski brings a highly consultative approach to client conversations. He works comfortably across audiences, from C-suite executives defining transformation priorities to technical teams responsible for putting those strategies into practice. That ability to connect business objectives with technical execution will be central to his expanded role.

“I’ve had the opportunity at Datavail to work alongside incredibly talented people and with clients facing some of the most interesting challenges in our industry,” said Schodowski. “What excites me about this role is the opportunity to connect more of those capabilities across Datavail. Our job isn’t simply to recommend technology. It’s to understand what the client is trying to achieve, develop the right solution and make sure we can deliver it with confidence. I’m excited to help our teams do that at an even greater scale.”

Schodowski is also passionate about developing the people around him and building teams that combine technical expertise with strong communication and client empathy.

He resides near Ann Arbor, Michigan, with his wife and three children. Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing and collecting vintage jazz albums.
