CPKC named Maersk 2026 Intermodal Supplier of the Year

CPKC has been recognized as Maersk’s 2026 Intermodal Supplier of the Year, an award presented annually to suppliers that demonstrate exceptional performance, partnership and commitment to supporting Maersk’s business objectives. The award was presented on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, during an event at Maersk’s North America headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The recognition reflects CPKC’s strong performance across Maersk’s supplier evaluation framework. Among North American rail providers, CPKC achieved the highest overall score, reflecting its ability to deliver consistent value while maintaining a collaborative and customer-focused approach.

Throughout 2026, CPKC demonstrated strong alignment with Maersk’s strategic priorities, particularly in support of the Gemini network. The railroad played a critical role in maintaining fluidity through the Port of Vancouver, working closely with supply chain partners to protect schedule reliability and support customer service objectives. CPKC also continued to distinguish itself through market-competitive solutions, proactive engagement, and a willingness to collaborate on both operational and commercial priorities.
