Four Seasons Resort Marrakech Unveils Inara, a New Dining Destination Inspired by the Richness of Moroccan Heritage
Four Seasons Resort Marrakech enriches its culinary offerings with the opening of Inara Restaurant & Lounge, a new venue inspired by Moroccan heritage through the cuisine, culture, and art of hospitality that characterize the Kingdom.
Located in the heart of the Resort, Inara is inspired by the spirit of Moroccan riads. Around the central fountain or on a terrace opening onto the gardens and palm trees, the restaurant invites guests to discover a cuisine rooted in Moroccan traditions while embracing the modern era.
Designed by Executive Chef Jean-Denis Rieubland, the menu draws on the recipes, ingredients, and expertise that shape Moroccan cuisine. From sharing plates to great regional classics, it creates a dialogue between culinary heritage and contemporary inspirations.
“With Inara, we wanted to create a place where the cuisine tells the story of Morocco in all its diversity. The recipes, music, hospitality, and conversations around the table all contribute to a single experience, deeply rooted in the Kingdom’s culture,” says Jean-Denis Rieubland, Executive Chef of the Four Seasons Resort Marrakech and Meilleur Ouvrier de France.
The menu highlights Moroccan specialties through a selection of sharing plates, appetizers, and reinvented iconic recipes. Guests can notably savor an assortment of traditional Moroccan salads, briouates with various fillings, a pulled lamb mechoui batbout, or a quail pastilla with foie gras and almond jus. Seafood shines through the chermoula red mullet or the Oualidia blue lobster with apples and saffron fennel, while meat specialties celebrate the great classics of the Moroccan repertoire with Tangia Marrakchia, orange-braised lamb shoulder, and a selection of seasonal tagines.
The famous couscous, a true symbol of conviviality and heritage, also takes center stage with a generously garnished Couscous and a plant-based version featuring the traditional seven vegetables. The desserts prolong this culinary journey through creations inspired by Moroccan flavours, including citrus, rose, dates, amlou, saffron, and chebakia.
Beyond its culinary offerings, Inara also makes room for the cultural expressions that contribute to the richness of Moroccan heritage. The restaurant’s programming regularly hosts cultural events highlighting different facets of Moroccan arts, from musical traditions to poetic and artisanal expressions that shape the nation’s rich identity. Live evening performances invite guests to discover the repertoires of Marrakech’s Melhoun, the sounds of Chgouri, as well as the melodies of Al-Ala music, heir to the Arab-Andalusian tradition and associated with the intellectual and musical legacy of Ibn Bajjah (Avempace). This programming helps make Inara a space for transmitting and celebrating contemporary Moroccan culture.
Open daily from 12:00 noon to 11:00 pm, Inara brings together cuisine, culture, and hospitality in a space designed as an invitation to discover Morocco through its flavours, stories, and living traditions.
Programming to the Rhythm of the Seasons Inara’s programming is also structured around the seasons and key moments of the Moroccan calendar. For autumn, the restaurant kicks off the season with a menu inspired by the olive and date harvests, as well as the grape-picking season, highlighting products intimately linked to Morocco’s agricultural and cultural history. This approach will evolve throughout the year to tell the story of the Kingdom’s landscapes, traditions, and terroirs through its cuisine.
