AdvaMed Welcomes New White House Women’s Health Initiative

Scott Whitaker, president and CEO of AdvaMed, the Medtech Association, welcomed the executive order from President Trump launching a new women’s health initiative, “Advancing Women’s Health to Improve Outcomes in All Phases of Life.” Whitaker made the following comment on the initiative.

“I want to thank President Trump for his commitment to improving women’s health. From conditions that have historically been under-recognized to well-known diseases like breast cancer, medtech is giving women and their doctors better tools for diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. We look forward to continuing our work with the Administration to preserve and strengthen U.S. medtech’s leadership role in developing and manufacturing the technologies that improve and save women’s lives.”
