Alltel re-elects four directors to terms ending in 2010

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The Alltel Board of Directors met this morning and announced the re-election by shareholders of four directors to terms that end in 2010.

Re-elected to the Alltel board were Scott Ford, president and chief executive officer of Alltel; Lawrence L. Gellerstedt III, president of the Office/Multi-Family Division of Cousins Properties Inc. in Atlanta; Emon A. Mahony Jr., president and director of Mahony Corporation in El Dorado, Ark., and Ronald Townsend, communications consultant in Jacksonville, Fla.
