Sun Chemical to Spotlight Low-Migration UV LED Inks, Digital Primers and Total Solutions at TLMI Annual Meeting 2026
Sun Chemical will showcase innovations for label and package printing at the TLMI (Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute) Annual Meeting 2026, held October 25–27, 2026, at Marriott Harbor Beach, 3030 Holiday Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The company will showcase its total solutions portfolio, including inks, coatings, adhesives, primers, pressroom consumables, dispensing technologies and technical services for the evolving label market. These solutions are designed to help packaging manufacturers improve productivity, safety, regulatory confidence and packaging sustainability.
A key focus will be low-migration UV LED technologies for food, beverage, health and personal care packaging. Next-generation inks engineered for press speeds above 1,000 feet per minute deliver print quality, compliance and efficiency, while multipurpose systems support both surface and reverse printing to reduce inventory complexity, costs and downtime.
The digital primers and coatings portfolio includes SunEvo Seam-Thru Digital Primer and SunEvo General Purpose Digital Primer for a range of label and packaging applications, along with matte and tactile specialty coatings that enhance product differentiation and support sustainable packaging goals.
Sun Chemical will also feature ultra-low-monomer adhesives developed for safety and performance, as well as UV, UV LED, water-based, solvent-based, EB and conventional offset solutions for labels, flexible packaging and paper packaging.
Sustainability innovations include SolvaWash™ washable inks that support label recycling, Solimax AP compostable inks and coatings for produce labels, and Duratort™ PFC nitrocellulose-alternative technologies that advance sustainability without compromising performance.
Sun Chemical experts will also highlight advanced analytical testing, global regulatory expertise, biodegradation assessments, sustainability consulting, and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) tools that help converters anticipate requirements and advance their environmental goals.
Dennis Sweet, Vice President, NWTL, Commercial, Rycoline and Distributors, Sun Chemical, comments: “Packaging manufacturers need more than products, they need a partner that can help them navigate compliance, sustainability and production challenges. Our total solutions approach combines innovative materials, advanced services and technical expertise to help customers succeed in a rapidly changing marketplace.”
