Lenovo Retains Leading Position Among Companies in Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series

Lenovo has maintained its inclusion in three indexes within the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series following the 2026 annual review by Hang Seng Indexes, effective September 7, 2026. The continued inclusion follows Lenovo’s achievement of the highest-possible AAA sustainability rating in Hang Seng Indexes’ 2026 Sustainability Ratings and the highest overall sustainability score across all three of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) pillars within the technology industry. Lenovo remains one of a select group of companies recognized for strong ESG performance – a leadership position the company has maintained since it was first included in the inaugural constituent stock of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series in 2010.

Following the review, Lenovo continues to be included in:

• Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index – comprising 30 Hong Kong-listed companies selected from the Hang Seng Composite Index based on sustainability performance, alongside size and liquidity requirements.
  
  
• Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Benchmark Index – comprising the top 20% of eligible Hang Seng Composite Index companies by sustainability score.
  
  
• Hang Seng (Mainland and HK) Corporate Sustainability Index – comprising constituents of the Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index together with leading Mainland A-share companies recognized for sustainability performance.
  
  

Lenovo has been included in all three indexes since their respective launches in 2010 and 2011, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to integrating sustainability into its business strategy and operations of its business globally.

The Hang Seng Corporate Sustainability Index Series identifies companies with strong sustainability performance as assessed by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) and selected by Hang Seng Indexes according to established index methodologies. Constituency considers factors including sustainability scores as well as eligibility, market capitalization, and liquidity requirements. Over the long term, the three indexes, made up of companies selected for their sustainability performance, have delivered higher returns and demonstrated resilience relative to the broader market, based on Hang Seng Indexes data.
