Americas Cardroom Runs Venom Day 1B Today Ahead of Bahamas Qualification Sunday

Americas Cardroom moves into the next stage of its Dual Venom PKO schedule today, with Day 1B starting at 1:05 p.m. ET. Sunday brings another starting flight for each Venom event and the first WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite, guaranteeing seven packages worth $30,000 each for the Bahamas.

Last Sunday’s opening flights established the first groups of Venom PKO qualifiers. In the $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event, 86 players advanced from 511 entries, led by Atheist30 with 5,186,479 chips. The $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event drew 133 entries and advanced 17 players, with BooooomHeadsot holding the largest qualifying stack at 6,706,559.

The opening action also produced bounty payments. lordgiven earned $8,125 in NLH bounties, while bethechange and sendmehome each collected $9,687.50 in PLO bounties. In these PKOs, the player making a knockout receives half of the eliminated player’s bounty and adds the other half to the bounty on their own head.

Both Venom tournaments have $2,650 buy-ins, with Venom Fever Satellites offering lower-cost qualification. Following today’s Day 1B, Day 1C takes place this Sunday, Oct. 11. Starting flights also run Oct. 15 and Oct. 18, all at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Sunday’s schedule then turns to live-event qualification. The $1,050 WSOP Paradise Mega Satellite begins at 2:05 p.m. ET. Each of its seven guaranteed packages includes a $26,000 entry into the $50 million guaranteed WSOP Paradise Super Main Event, scheduled Dec. 10–17 in the Bahamas, and accommodation at SLS Baha Mar from Dec. 5–18. Travel, meals and personal expenses remain outside the package.

Fifty players have already qualified for that Mega through the Oct. 4 $95 Beast Paradise feeder. The next feeder, also priced at $95, begins this Sunday, Oct. 11, at 5:05 p.m. ET and guarantees 50 seats to the Oct. 18 Mega.
