Screamer Receives New Patch Introducing Single Stick Control Mode
Continuing its post-launch support for Screamer, Milestone released a new update featuring the highly requested Single Stick control mode, alongside gameplay refinements and character balance adjustments inspired by community feedback.
Designed to make the game more approachable for newcomers, the new Single Stick option allows players to steer and drift using a single controller stick across all game modes. While the Twin Stick control scheme remains the recommended way to experience Screamer and fully engage with its ECHO System, the new mode offers a more familiar alternative for players taking their first steps into the game.
The update also introduces further refinements to the overall experience, including a new way to unlock Tournament Crew characters, giving players more freedom in how they progress through the game. Several Screamers have also received balance adjustments aimed at refining the competitive experience and encouraging greater variety in character selection.
