Top Tips for New Visitors
To help you on your next Mission, we’ve put together a list of some top tips for new visitors to the bayou. For even more info about the game loop and detailed tips and tricks, check out our Player Guide here.
- Targets: Banishing a Boss Target or Wild Target will restore all Health Chunks for you and your team. It will be much needed, as when you banish a Target, your location will be visible to all others on the map. Keep your wits about you and be ready to defend.
- Healing: If you’re new around here, you might find that you need an extra hand to heal quicker . Make sure to equip your Hunter with Regeneration Shots, First Aid Kits, and Traits that will offer the proper support. Some Traits—like Surefoot—can help you run away from danger while using a First Aid Kit at the same time.
- Outsmart your enemy: If you see a downed Hunter, their corpse will always fall in the opposite direction from where they got shot, meaning you can work out where the enemy is hiding by seeing which direction the downed Hunter’s feet are pointing.
- Environment: The buildings across all maps have been designed with holes, openings, and cracks in them which you can shoot through, giving you an advantage over other teams.
- Birds: Watch out for crows and ducks—they will fly in the opposite direction that you ran into them, potentially giving your location away to enemy Hunters.
- Audio: Hunt is all about audio! Use your ears to listen to shots and cues of the environment, also make sure you do not make too much noise yourself.
And lastly, whatever you do…do not shoot or stab Immolators!
