IKEA to Relocate Bolingbrook Store to Naperville Small Format Store in Late 2027

This relocation reflects how our customers are increasingly living, working and shopping across the broader Bolingbrook-Naperville corridor. By moving the shopping experience to a small format store in Naperville, we are positioning IKEA closer to growing population centers and a popular shopping district while maintaining strong accessibility for existing Bolingbrook customers.

Located just eight miles away from the current Bolingbrook store, the future Naperville location offers convenience to customers throughout the western suburbs. It remains within 30 minutes of the IKEA Schaumburg store to provide seamless access to the full IKEA range of products, services and fulfillment capabilities. The Naperville store will offer customers a streamlined shopping experience and include a Swedish Food Market and Swedish Deli.
