Paradise Island, Bahamas – WEBWIRE –

The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas welcomes the 2026 festive season with newly redesigned Hartford Ocean View accommodations and a full calendar of holiday experiences. Guests can look forward to special dining at DUNE by Jean-Georges, seasonal offerings at The Martini Bar and Lounge, family activities and wellness programming, alongside a vibrant lineup of celebrations throughout the festive period.

The season unfolds with a distinctly Bahamian spirit, pairing relaxed days by the sea with memorable holiday traditions and lively evenings across the resort. Santa makes an island-style arrival by jet ski, Christmas morning begins with yoga accompanied by cello, and special dining, family experiences and live entertainment carry guests from Christmas through a spirited New Year’s Eve celebration.

A Fresh Look for a Beloved Beach House

Guests arriving for the festive season will be among the first to experience the newly redesigned Hartford Ocean View accommodations. The 26 guest rooms and two suites in the historic Hartford Wing ocean-facing side have been reimagined in a lighter, brighter style, with a colour palette inspired by the sand and sea.

Set close to the resort’s main lobby and dining venues, the Hartford Ocean View rooms combine the convenience of a central location with sweeping views of the turquoise Atlantic. Ground-floor rooms offer direct terrace access to the lawn, a favourite for families, while second-floor accommodations provide additional privacy. The refreshed rooms add a new chapter to the welcoming, residential feeling that has long made The Ocean Club feel like a glamorous beach house for the holidays.

Warm Days by the Water

During Christmas week, seasonal touches will be offered throughout the day, including chilled cider fresco, hot chocolate and festive cookies in the lobby, while rum cake will be available to purchase as a distinctly Bahamian holiday treat. The Coconut Cabana on the Ocean Deck and the Gelato Cart at the Ocean Pool will also be open daily from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm.

Between festive activities, guests can spend winter days by the water at the resort’s pools: the oceanfront infinity-edge Ocean Pool and the adults-only Versailles Pool. Along the white-sand beach, blue umbrellas, warm breezes and attentive beachside service make it easy to settle into the unhurried rhythm of island life.

Eat Drink and Be Merry

On Christmas Eve, December 24, DUNE by Jean-Georges, the resort’s signature oceanfront restaurant, will present a Chef’s Special dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, while The Martini Bar and Lounge will offer Sushi and Sake. Chef specials will be offered in addition to the regular menus in both Ocean Blu and Trattoria Versailles. On Christmas Day, guests can continue the celebration with Chef’s Special dinners at DUNE and the relaxed beachfront Ocean Blu, along with Sushi and Sake, a Crudo offering and Cigar Rolling at The Martini Bar and Lounge.

Throughout the festive period, additional experiences include Rum Tasting, High Tea, Happy Hour at DUNE, Caviar and Crudo offerings, Cigar Rolling, Sushi and Sake, Oysters and Martinis, and Sunday Brunch at DUNE on select dates. Festive drink specials will also be served at Ocean Blu, Italian-inspired Trattoria Versailles and DUNE, with additional selections at The Martini Bar.

Together, the special menus, tastings and gatherings bring a festive touch to dining across the resort, from relaxed afternoons by the water to cocktails and dinner after dark.

Holiday Magic for Little Guests

Christmas Eve brings one of the season’s most anticipated moments for younger guests, with Santa’s arrival and family photographs in the othel Lobby, followed by an island-style parachute appearance. The day’s festivities continue with a Christmas tennis class, cookie decorating, Christmas globe making, stocking decorating and an evening of storytelling with a festive kids’ eggnog experience.

The celebrations are part of the resort’s complimentary Kids For All Seasons program, which will offer a full calendar of creative projects, outdoor play and holiday activities throughout the festive period. Younger guests can take part in sandcastle making, kids yoga, aqua aerobics, tennis clinics, tie-dye, pizza and cookie decorating, Junkanoo mask painting, laser tag, movie nights, s’mores, foam parties and poolside games.

Move, Restore and Recharge

Christmas morning begins with yoga accompanied by the soothing sounds of a cellist on Versailles Terrace East, followed by open-water paddleboarding and additional fitness programming. As the year draws to a close, Mindful Movements Yoga, Harmony Hatha Yoga with cellist, and Tennis Rally offer more ways to stay active throughout the celebrations.

Beyond these seasonal highlights, the Resort’s festive wellness calendar includes Pilates, circuit and functional training, tennis and padel, along with special sessions such as Power Pilates, Breath and Balance, Padel Under the Stars, Holiday Hustle HIIT and a Holiday Street Dance Celebration workout.

Ring in 2027 by the Sea

On New Year’s Eve, DUNE by Jean-Georges will present a special five-course dinner from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Live entertainment across the resort will set the mood at Ocean Blu, Trattoria Versailles and The Martini Bar and Lounge, while a Junkanoo and a fireworks display right at the resort bring the night to a sparkling close. Music and festivities will continue into the early hours of 2027.
