almatar has expanded its use of Sabre’s AI-native Mosaic platform – broadening its use of APIs, NDC capabilities, and a range of shopping, automation and analytics tools designed to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience. The platform’s modular design means almatar can add new capabilities as needs arise, as it did most recently to strengthen rebooking and servicing capabilities.

Sabre’s technology is now helping almatar’s teams manage flight changes and cancellations faster and more accurately, at a moment when travellers and airlines across the region and beyond are contending with operational and geopolitical uncertainty. The improvement comes from the use of Sabre Mosaic ^® Exchange and Refund and AI-native Sabre Mosaic Flight Reshop, that combined automates the search for alternative flight options and the complex calculations behind flight exchanges – rebooking costs, refund eligibility and disruption waivers – work that would otherwise take significant manual effort for almatar advisors. The result: quicker, more reliable outcomes for travellers when their plans change.

almatar has also extended its reach into multiple African markets, while continuing to grow its presence across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait and Qatar. In addition, it has driven strong growth in Sabre Mosaic NDC bookings, reflecting rising regional demand for modern airline retailing offers.
