“Danielle and the Pee Pee Monster” is a book that reminds kids that setbacks don’t define them – courage grows one step at a time.

Confidence, resilience, and the courage it takes to grow took center stage in P.G. Taylor’s “Danielle and the Pee Pee Monster.” The book was one of the most heartwarming works that self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet displayed at their exhibit during the book festival at Printers Row in Chicago. This wonderful open-air event took place on September 12-13,2026, along South Dearborn Street from Ida B. Wells Drive to Polk Street.

“Danielle and the Pee Pee Monster” follows a young girl who comes face-to-face with a mysterious, giggly monster, and in doing so, soon learns that fears and accidents do not define who she is. The author wrote the book with the goal of helping families navigate potty training, nighttime bedwetting, or other toileting setbacks. The book continues to open the door to gentle, shame-free conversation in every household. “Danielle and the Pee Pee Monster”’s playful storytelling reassures children that mistakes are part of growing up.

At the heart of the story is the idea that every child is brave, capable, and never alone on their journey. P.G. Taylor’s imaginative characters and encouraging tone of writing give parents, caregivers, and educators a relatable resource for celebrating milestones and building confidence one step at a time.
