FedEx Advances Digital Solutions to Simplify Global Trade for Thai Businesses
Latest digital enhancements help Thai businesses manage customs, payments and billing more efficiently throughout the shipping journey.
Federal Express Corporation (FedEx), one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, is enhancing its digital solutions by launching electronic tax invoices and e-Credit Notes for eligible FedEx account holders in Thailand beginning 1 October 2026. The new capability is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to simplify international shipping by delivering a more seamless, connected experience across the shipping journey.
“Today’s businesses are increasingly adopting digital tools in their daily operations and want greater convenience, visibility, and control while managing international shipments,” said Sasathorn Phaspinyo, managing director, FedEx Thailand. “By digitalizing billing and payment processes, we are helping customers reduce administrative complexity, save time, and manage cross-border shipments efficiently. These solutions reflect our commitment to making global trade more accessible for businesses of all sizes.”
FedEx Billing Online (FBO) customers will receive digitally signed e-Tax Invoices and e-Credit Notes in PDF format by email, making it easier to access, manage, and store billing records electronically. Those not yet enrolled in FBO will continue with the current billing process and are encouraged to register to take advantage of electronic billing.
The introduction of e-Invoicing follows the launch of online duty and tax payment through the FedEx Import Tool (FiT) in Thailand in June 2026. Through FiT, consignees and importers receive duty and tax payment requests and can complete transactions online using multiple payment options, including credit cards, PromptPay or TrueWallet. Together, FiT and the new e-Invoicing capability provide customers with a more streamlined shipping experience.
These initiatives reflect the company’s ongoing commitment to simplifying cross-border trade by making key shipping, customs, and billing processes more convenient, transparent, and accessible through digital solutions.
