Wild Scottish venison arrives on Tesco shelves

Tesco is set to launch a new range of Finest Scottish wild venison in stores across the UK.

The new Tesco Finest Venison range includes venison fillet, Roe venison leg and haunch steaks, bringing the premium Scottish meat to more Tesco customers than ever before.

Wild venison is naturally high in protein and typically low in fat, making it a nutritious choice for customers looking to incorporate more protein into a balanced diet. Raised in Scotland’s landscapes, the deer roam freely across hills, mountains and forests.

The new range, supplied by Highland Game, will be sold in 100 stores across the UK, and will help meet a growing customer interest in healthy, premium-quality products. The expanded Finest range will also create 12 new jobs at Highland Game.

The launch reinforces Tesco’s ongoing commitment to supporting Scottish agriculture and producers. Tesco works closely with Scottish suppliers, from family-run producers to established food manufacturers and growers to help deliver great tasting, quality Scottish food and drink to its customers.
