Located in Sweden in snowy Arjeplog, just a few kilometers from the Arctic Circle, the third episode of the Jeep _® capability stories shows how sportiness can prevail over bad weather – courtesy of all-wheel drive.

The top-of-the-range, fully electric 4xe version of the new Jeep Compass delivers an impressive 375 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.

New Jeep Compass 4xe:
the offroad vehicle that knows how to behave on the road
The all-new all-electric 4xe is designed to reach the pinnacle of performance in the Compass line-up.

To perfectly control traction on each axle, the 4xe technology employs two separate e-Motors, delivering 157 kW at the front and 132 kW at the rear. An ultra-precise speed controller enables optimal acceleration, deceleration ​and torque distribution.​ The controller can detect and manage wheel slip in real time​, adjust torque to dynamic weight, and damp driveline oscillation​ while supporting ABS and ESP​.

The Jeep-exclusive, high-performance rear electric motor delivers 232 Nm of base torque. When paired with heavy-duty 14:1 rear reduction gear, the mechanical leverage multiplies that output to 3,100 Nm at the rear wheels. The dual-motor powertrain combination is completed by the front EMD producing 345 Nm. On both axles, this amazing torque is available starting from 0 km/h.

When new Jeep Compass 4xe unleashes its full power, it provides the acceleration of a sportscar while maintaining safe and fully manageable road behavior.

Equipped with a 96.1 kW battery, Jeep Compass 4xe can reach up to 606 km WLTP range.

The exclusive new Jeep Compass 4xe Selec-Terrain:
a specific mode for each driving situation
With the Selec-Terrain system, new Jeep Compass 4xe offers five driving modes to match any terrain and driving mood: AUTO, SPORT, SAND & MUD, SNOW and 4WD LOCK.

By selecting the most suitable mode, the driver can fully exploit the staggering power of the Compass 4xe.

SPORT mode for performance and all-weather fun
The SPORT mode enhances responsiveness, offering 100% of peak power, overboost, and sport-tuned steering calibration.

Level 2 advanced driver-assistance systems remain fully active; the AWD system is permanently engaged up to 140 kph with rear-biased torque distribution; ESP and traction control are performance-focused.
