Barclays launches market-leading switching offers worth up to £600

• Customers could get up to £600 when switching to a Barclays Premier Account, or up to £300 when switching to a Barclays Bank Account
• As well taking advantage of this market-leading offer, Premier customers can enjoy ongoing access to Barclays Premier benefits, including exclusive savings and mortgage rates, financial planning services and fee-free FX

Barclays has launched two new switching offers for customers who open a Barclays Bank Account or Barclays Premier Account, with rewards worth up to £300 and £600 respectively. Customers can take advantage of this market-leading rate using the Current Account Switcher Service – a quick and easy way to swap bank accounts within seven working days.

Customers who open a new Barclays Premier Account, complete a full switch using the Current Account Switching Service with three direct debits and pay in a minimum £5,000 salary within 30 days will receive £450. Customers must then make at least 10 eligible debit card transactions a month to receive an additional £30 a month for five months, taking the total reward to £600.

Barclays customers who switch to a Premier account will also be able to enjoy a wide range benefits, including Barclays’ Planning and Advice service, exclusive Premier savings and mortgage rates and most recently, fee-free FX. Other Premier benefits include free Apple TV, access to Barclays Experiences and the ability to make larger cash withdrawals and transfer higher amounts online or in the app.

Customers who open a new Barclays Bank Account, complete a full switch using the Current Account Switching Service with three direct debits and pay in a minimum £2,000 salary within 30 days will receive £150. Customers must then make at least 10 eligible debit card transactions a month to receive an additional £30 a month for five months, taking the total reward to £300.

To qualify for either offer, customers must open and complete a Barclays Current Account application in the Barclays app within 21 days.

The switch must be completed through the Current Account Switching Service, a free service that moves payments to a new account within seven working days, closes the old account on the chosen switch date and transfers any remaining balance.

The offers are available from 1 October until withdrawn.
