ACR Poker Pairs $6.5M Venom PKO Launch With Ladies Championship This Sunday
The October 4 ladies-only event offers $25,000 guaranteed, a winner’s trophy and 10 satellite seats.
ACR Poker’s Sunday schedule combines the launch of its $6.5 million guaranteed Dual Venom PKO tournaments with the Ladies Online Championship. The two Venom opening flights start at 1:05 p.m. ET, followed by the ladies-only tournament at 2:05 p.m. ET.
The Venom lineup gives players a choice between a $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em PKO and a $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha PKO. Entry costs $2,650 for each event, and the PLO tournament ties the largest PLO PKO guarantee in ACR Poker history.
In both tournaments, players can earn bounty money by knocking out opponents while pursuing a share of tournament prize money. The NLH event can produce individual bounties worth tens of thousands of dollars.
The Ladies Online Championship, with a $215 buy-in and $25,000 guaranteed, adds a different prize to Sunday’s schedule: a championship trophy for the winner.
Two same-day satellites offer a route into that ladies championship before play begins. At 11:05 a.m. ET, a $22 Turbo guarantees five seats. The second qualifier, a $21 Hyper at 12:30 p.m. ET, guarantees five more.
For the Venom tournaments, October 4 is the first of five Day 1 opportunities. The remaining flights take place October 8, 11, 15 and 18. Both NLH and PLO start at 1:05 p.m. ET on all five dates.
Both Venoms resume with Day 2 on Monday, October 19, after the final opening flights. Their final tables are scheduled for Wednesday, October 21.
Venom Fever satellites are already running for players seeking to qualify. Available through October 18, the options include Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and Survivor Flips Step Satellites. Mega Satellite paths start at $0; Survivor Flips Step Satellites begin at $0.80.
The Dual Venom PKO promotion page has further details on the events and ways to qualify.
