$50 Million OSS XL Wraps Up at Americas Cardroom With Three Big Main Events

Americas Cardroom brought the $50 Million GTD OSS XL to a close on Tuesday, September 29, with CPUrul0r winning $518,759 in the $2,650 Main Event. The tournament drew 1,069 entries and built a $2,672,500 prize pool, $172,500 above its $2.5 million guarantee.

Six players earned six figures, led by CPUrul0r, EbillionS00n in second for $377,921 and origi69 in third for $275,882. Americas Cardroom Pro Rob Kuhn finished sixth for $107,322.

The other two Main Events also produced substantial fields. The $1,050 Main Event drew 2,184 entries for a $2,184,000 prize pool, with Aldeberan90 winning $367,791. The $66 Main Event drew 8,211 entries and paid its $500,000 guarantee, with MillionDollarCorner collecting $72,078 for first. Together, the three Main Events generated $5,356,500 in prize pools.

The closing stretch also included a notable Americas Cardroom Pro result. Second Mortgage Week ended Monday in the $15,400 NLH 8-Max with Chris Moneymaker winning $214,988 and Alex Foxen, playing as OutFoxenYou, finishing second for $157,217. The 49 entries generated a $735,000 prize pool.

Tuesday brought another seven-figure prize pool in OSS XL #4. The $630 multi-flight event attracted 3,027 entries, creating a $1,816,200 prize pool and exceeding its $1.5 million guarantee by $316,200. WillyWonka finished first for $286,180, ahead of HundertZwolf for $206,193 and RiverRiot72 for $148,545.

The OSS XL Leaderboard Competition added more than $60,000 in cash and tournament tickets across High, Medium and Low buy-in tiers. GROOTHEDEGEN, INIT2MINIT and BIGJUMBO27 finished atop those respective divisions.

Outside the OSS XL, Americas Cardroom’s $2.5 Million GTD 25th Anniversary Tournament also concluded Tuesday. The $250 event recorded 10,375 entries. Following a final-table deal, suchachill finished first for $239,404, Purgeru took second for $235,556, and Boguette placed third for $193,040.
