Airbnb 2026 fall update

Get travel recommendations from people you know, plan your trip with AI, and book new services from meal delivery to baby gear

WEBWIRE –

Earlier this year, we introduced even more ways to travel on Airbnb. Now we’re making it easier to find the trip that’s right for you. Starting today, you can connect with family, friends, and people you’ve traveled with on Airbnb to see the places they’ve stayed, what they recommend, and where they’re going next. We’re also introducing new AI features that let you search and filter in your own words and compare homes based on what matters most to you. And all-new services make the trip easier once you arrive, from baby gear rentals and laundry to meal delivery and more.

Discover where to go from people you know

Some of the best recommendations come from people you trust. Now, we’re making it easy to see where people you know have traveled, what they loved, and where they’re headed next.

  • Connect – Invite those you know to connect on Airbnb. Once connected, you can see their trips, and they can see yours. Airbnb will also suggest connections based on your past trips.

  • Travel Map – See where your connections have traveled to or where they’re going on an interactive map. You can explore where they stayed and any experiences or services they booked. You can also read their reviews, save favorites to your wishlist, or message them directly in the app. Your travel map fills as you add more connections.

  • Privacy – Decide which trips appear on your travel map and how much of each trip you share. Hide or remove a trip or block a connection at any time.

  • Neighborhood pages – Tap the map for an overview of an area, built from what guests and hosts tell us and from other sources: what it’s like, things to do, where to eat, and how to get around – plus, top experiences from local hosts.1
Better AI-powered trip planning

Starting in the US, we are bringing AI into every step of a trip to help take you from planning to check-in in less time.

  • AI search – Search across homes, experiences, and services using your own words or voice with our new search bar, so you can build the right trip faster.

  • AI filters – You can now type keywords within filters, and instantly find the ones that best match your search. For instance, “baby” will surface related filters such as cribs, playgrounds or children’s books and toys. No need to scroll through filters or select them yourself.

  • AI listing descriptions – Search results now include AI-powered descriptions to highlight key features of a home.

  • AI-powered comparison – Compare homes from your wishlist in an all-new, side-by-side display, with AI summaries of key features.

  • AI customer support – AI-powered chat support is now available in more than 50 languages. We’re expanding to voice support so guests can get quick answers over the phone.

New services make your trip even easier

Starting now through later this year, we’re expanding Airbnb Services into new categories that help you pack lighter, spend less time on errands, and make the most of your trip once you arrive.2

  • Meal delivery – Order from local restaurants right to your Airbnb listing when you’d rather stay in. Available in select cities across Europe.

  • Expanded grocery delivery – We launched grocery delivery early this year in the U.S. Now, we’re bringing it to Europe.

  • Laundry – Schedule pickup and delivery so you can pack less, especially on longer trips. Airbnb guests get free pickup, delivery and next-day rush service. Available in select U.S. cities, in partnership with Rinse.

  • Baby gear – Rent cribs, strollers, high chairs, toys, and more, delivered and set up at your Airbnb listing. Airbnb guests get 10% off. Available starting in November in over 60 U.S. cities, in partnership with BabyQuip.

  • New local services in the French Alps and South Florida – Rent ski and snowboard gear in the French Alps, boats in South Florida, and more through local partners, making it easier to pack light and spend your time enjoying the destination.

Smarter new tools for hosts

We’re making it easier for you to set pricing, manage availability, and keep listings up to date. Later this fall, new AI-powered tools will give hosts even greater control, clearer insights, and more time to focus on providing great hospitality.

  • Multi-listing calendar – Allows hosts to easily update pricing, availability, cancellation policies, or discounts across all listings at once, or just a few.

  • 3D floor plans – Give guests a better understanding of the layout of a home before they book with interactive 3D floor plans.

  • Dynamic pricing – We’ll recommend a price range, and with one tap, nightly prices adjust automatically based on daily demand and supply. Hosts can change their range at any time to stay competitive with similar listings, and view or adjust prices directly in the calendar.

  • AI earnings dashboard insights – We’ll show AI summaries of a host’s performance, and what’s impacting it, alongside suggested actions they can take without leaving the dashboard.

1Available starting in Paris, with more neighborhoods to come.

2Offers available in select cities. Excludes taxes and fees. Terms apply
