Systema Foundation: a new Alliance to strengthen the competitiveness of Italy’s productive system

On the occasion of Open-es ACT 2026, the event dedicated to defining priorities and actions to strengthen the competitiveness of businesses and supply chains, Eni, Confindustria, Enel, Snam, UniCredit, Q8 Italia, Webuild, Accenture, Avvale and RINA announce the launch of Systema Foundation, established through the shared commitment of the Open-es Alliance partners to expand their ability to engage the key stakeholders of the national system.

Systema Foundation is a forum for guidance and dialogue, with the ambition of progressively bringing together the leading actors of the Italian system and enhancing the contribution of industry, finance, associations and institutions to define shared priorities, models and approaches that help supply chains address the risks and seize the opportunities arising from the ongoing social, environmental and technological transformations.

Its objective is to simplify the path for businesses by reducing complexity and duplication, and by jointly addressing what can be managed more effectively at a system level.

Open-es, which has already reached more than 48,000 companies, represents the first concrete expression of this approach to “Fare Sistema” and will remain at the heart of the journey promoted by Systema Foundation. Open-es will continue to engage businesses, support their development, and foster coordination across supply chains, leveraging the expertise and solutions made available by the Alliance partners.

Systema Foundation is open to the participation of new organisations willing to contribute to the Alliance’s priorities, progressively expanding its representativeness and its ability to support the competitiveness of supply chains over time.
