Two OSS XL Main Events Beat Guarantees on Americas Cardroom’s Final Sunday

Two Americas Cardroom OSS XL Main Events cleared their guarantees on the series’ final Sunday, combining for $4,856,500 in prize pools. Their surviving players return Monday for Day 2 and a run toward Tuesday’s final tables.

The $2,650 tournament built a $2,672,500 prize pool from 1,069 entries. It has 145 players remaining. The $1,050 Main Event drew 2,184 entries and generated $2,184,000, with 309 players advancing. The separate Day 2 fields will each play down to a final table for Tuesday.

Another Main Event already has a winner. MillionDollarCorner took the $66 edition for $72,078 from its $500,000 prize pool. sydens earned $52,106 as runner-up.

Sunday’s other results included BuenaHistoria’s $137,057 win in the $630 Sunday High Roller. That event brought in 1,221 entries and created a $732,600 prize pool. In the $109 Sunday Moneymaker, 3,265 entries lifted the prize pool to $326,500, above its $300,000 guarantee. donnyjones11 claimed first for $41,264 after a final-table deal.

The biggest prize pool of the day came at a higher buy-in. Second Mortgage Week’s $25,500 NLH 8-Max drew 51 entries for $1,275,000. SamuSabu finished first for $341,377 after a final-table deal; Americas Cardroom Pro Chris Moneymaker placed sixth for $78,285.

Second Mortgage Week is part of OSS XL and concludes today. Its final-day lineup features a $15,400 NLH 8-Max and a $5,200 NLH 6-Max event. Day 2 of the $1.5 million guaranteed $630 Main Multi-Flight adds another tournament to Monday’s schedule.

There is also one more day in the leaderboard race after Monday. The OSS XL Leaderboard Competition runs through Tuesday, offering more than $60,000 in added cash and tournament tickets across High, Medium and Low. GROOTHEDEGEN, INIT2MINIT and MALEKSEY led those respective standings as of Monday morning.
