Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, calls for urgent collaboration at Skift Global Forum in New York City

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, founder of Travalyst, delivered a keynote address and took part in an on-stage Q&A with Skift’s Editor-in-Chief, Sarah Kopit, to an audience of over 1000 travel and tourism industry leaders at Skift Global Forum in New York City.

The Duke founded Travalyst in 2019 – the independent not-for-profit coalition of leading travel and technology companies, working together to make travel a force for good.

In his speech, the Duke called for urgent collaboration across the industry, emphasising the need to ensure travel acts as a catalyst for positive change for destinations, communities, wildlife, and the environment. He said, “We must remember, there is no successful travel industry without successful destinations… Now is not the time to go quiet… Let’s use the power of collaboration rather than division, and the power of travel, to bring about a stronger, more resilient, and better future.”
