Mokka GSE: Featuring the very best ingredients from the world of motorsport

That very special feeling is no coincidence. The developers and designers at Opel and Opel Motorsport have done a brilliant job on the Mokka GSE: With a peak output of 207 kW (281 hp), the serial production electric car is just as powerful as its Mokka GSE Rally motorsport counterpart. And with an immediate torque of 345 Newton meters, it accelerates just as uncompromisingly. From a standing start it can reach 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds – and with a top speed of 200 km/h, it is the fastest all-electric production Opel car so far.

Its sophisticated technology, which was also inspired by the rally car competing in the ADAC Opel GSE Rally Cup since the start of the season, contributes to the exceptional performance. For example, the Mokka GSE has a Torsen limited-slip differential as well as a chassis with specially designed axles and hydraulic bump stops. All high-voltage components of the standard Mokka GSE, such as the motor, inverter, battery and wiring harness, come from the Mokka GSE Rally. The steering system and brakes have also been designed to be particularly sporty and optimised thanks to Opel’s experience in electric rallying.

Elsewhere, the Mokka GSE confidently conveys its ‘inner values’ to the outside world, being sharper and even more emotional than its model siblings. And inside, the driver and co-driver sit on special GSE designed performance seats with integrated headrests, which optimally integrate the driver into the vehicle. Additionally, the central colour touchscreen contains information like GSE performance data, G-force display, acceleration values, battery management data and much more – shown in the typical GSE look and feel.

Thus, the Mokka GSE boasts a recipe that even the experts took to right from the start: immediately after the launch last year, it was named ‘Best Small Car’ and awarded the ‘Golden Steering Wheel 2025’ 2.

And for all who prefer to enjoy these moments in a slightly more relaxed way, Opel naturally offers the standard Mokka in a range of other trims and powertrain combinations. In a battery-electric Mokka, coffee lovers can even make their favourite speciality themselves – any time and anywhere. All they need is a coffee machine. The power is supplied by the all-electric Opel SUV. The magic word is V2L – vehicle-to-load. Thanks to this technology, a power socket is no longer needed to power or charge external devices – the energy comes directly from the vehicle’s high-voltage battery.
