Final Weekend Arrives for Americas Cardroom’s $2.5 Million Anniversary Event
A Sunday Main flight, 12 Turbos and a cumulative-stack format shape the last route to Day 2.
The long run of starting flights in Americas Cardroom’s $2.5 million guaranteed 25th Anniversary Tournament is nearing its end. Thirteen Day 1 flights remain through Monday morning, September 28, before Day 2 begins Monday and the final table follows Tuesday, September 29.
Sunday, September 27, is the only remaining day with a Main flight. It starts at 1:05 p.m. ET, with Turbo flights on the same day at 10:15 a.m. and 7:05 p.m. ET. The other remaining flights are all Turbos, giving players a total of 12 Turbo starts across the closing schedule.
The final stretch begins with three Turbos on both Thursday and Friday, each day at 12:05 p.m., 3:05 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. ET. Saturday has three more flights at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET. A last Turbo starts Monday at 8:05 a.m. ET, ahead of Day 2.
Each direct entry costs only $250. The event’s cumulative-stack rules allow players to advance through more than one Day 1 flight and combine their surviving stacks when they reach Day 2. Someone with a qualifying stack can therefore play again to add to it.
A separate qualification path starts with $3.15 Super Satellites, which offer entry into $33 satellites. Those $33 events award seats in the Anniversary Tournament. Because satellite availability may change, players can check the Americas Cardroom lobby for the current schedule.
The tournament is part of the site’s 25th anniversary celebration, which marks 25 years since it began dealing cards in 2001. After more than two months of Day 1 flights, its concluding stages are now on the calendar.
