ACR Poker Announces $5M NLH and $1.5M PLO Venom PKOs for October

ACR Poker has announced two Dual Venom PKO tournaments this October with $6.5 million in combined guarantees: a $5 million guaranteed No-Limit Hold’em event and a $1.5 million guaranteed Pot-Limit Omaha event. Each begins Sunday, October 4 and carries a $2,650 direct buy-in.

Both tournaments share five starting dates: October 4, 8, 11, 15 and 18. Each flight begins at 1:05 p.m. ET, with Day 2 for both events scheduled for Monday, October 19, at the same time. The PLO tournament ties ACR Poker’s largest PLO PKO guarantee ever.

Venom Fever runs September 29 through October 18, offering hundreds of seats through Direct Satellites, Mega Satellites and Survivor Flips Step Satellites. Survivor Flips Steps start at 80 cents, while some Mega Satellites offer qualifying paths beginning at $0.

Bounty payments give the progressive knockout format a separate source of tournament earnings. A player who eliminates an opponent receives half of that opponent’s bounty immediately. The other half is added to the eliminating player’s own bounty, leaving a larger amount available to the player who subsequently knocks them out.

As those amounts accumulate on surviving players, individual knockouts can reach tens of thousands of dollars. The structure rewards eliminations throughout the event, alongside the regular prize money awarded through tournament results.

Last year’s NLH champion, Rigapols81, collected nearly $297,000 in bounties in addition to $378,372 in regular prize money, for more than $675,000 overall. The NLH field reached 2,498 entries and produced a $6,245,000 prize pool.

Last year’s PLO event attracted 641 entries and generated a $1,602,500 prize pool. Champion PohPohPohPAAAA earned $252,888, combining $135,789 in regular prize money with $117,099 in bounties. Together, the two Venom PKOs generated $7,847,500.
