FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week - Week 2 Nominees Announced (2026)

The NFL announced today that the nominees for FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week for Week 2 are:

• Buffalo quarterback JOSH ALLEN completed 20 of 31 attempts (64.5 percent) for 248 yards and three touchdowns with a 121.4 rating. Added 14 carries for 69 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
  
  

• Kansas City quarterback PATRICK MAHOMES completed 32 of 47 attempts (68.1 percent) for 382 yards and three touchdowns with a 114.0 rating.
  
  

• San Francisco quarterback BROCK PURDY completed 20 of 22 attempts (90.9 percent) for 287 yards and two touchdowns with a 149.1 rating. Added three carries for 30 yards and one rushing touchdown

• Buffalo running back JAMES COOK recorded 21 carries for 135 yards and one touchdown.
  
  

• Dallas wide receiver CEEDEE LAMB recorded eight catches for 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
  
  

• Seattle wide receiver JAXON SMITH-NJIGBA recorded nine receptions for 155 yards and three touchdowns.

For the 2026-27 NFL regular season, FedEx is once again teaming up with Feeding America to make donations of $2,000 in the name of the winning players ($4,000 total per week) to help combat food insecurity across the country.

This marks the continuation of the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Awards program’s support of Feeding America and its nationwide network of local food banks and pantries. Over the course of the entire season, select food banks and pantries will receive grants totaling more than $100,000.
